From the Sheffield Rockwell 53-55 steel to the recycled wind damagedbough wood from eststes in North Yorkshire, this collection is to a superior quality with individual unique touches on the grains of each handle. All our blades  used for our Forest and Forge range have a high carbon content, this increases the sharpness and longevity while the high chrome content hardens and improves the quality of the steel.
 
The Yew wood used was once wind damaged boughs from estates in Malton in North Yorkshire. By using recycled wood, we can make sure that all wood used ih the Forest and Forge collection does not result in healthy trees being unnecessary chopped down. By using wood from different trees throughout the collection, each handle has its own personality, unique grains and slightly change in shade of colour.
